SecureTest App - "Environment not secure" error

Error commonly occurs when student is attempting to begin a test, and it will not allow them to continue.

Overview

This error can be quite common during iLearn testing and other tests that use the SecureTest app. Using these instructions, anyone should be able to reliably fix this error so the student can continue to test. Once this error is fixed once, it should not be a problem for the remainder of the daily testing session.

 
  1.  Go into the Settings app on the student's iPad
  2.  Select General
  3. Scroll to the bottom of General and find “Transfer or Reset iPad”
  4. Select “Reset”
  5. Select “Reset Network Settings”
  6. Select “Reset”
  7. The iPad will go dark and a progress bar will appear with an Apple logo as it resets these settings. You may continue once the iPad turns back on.
  8.  Go back into Settings and find the WiFi settings. Select EACSStudent
  9.  Have the student enter their student ID and password and click “Join”
  10. Accept the certificate agreement that appears
  11. Confirm that the iPad is connected to EACSStudent WiFi using the following signs as confirmation.
