Microsoft Bookings - Personal Booking Page

Learn how to create and customize your own personal booking page using Microsoft Bookings for easy appointment scheduling.

Overview

Microsoft Bookings allows you to create a page that others can use to schedule time on your calendar. The Bookings calendar syncs with Outlook to avoid overlap with other appointments.

  1. Navigate to EACS Microsoft Portal and log in with your EACS email and password.
  2. From the App Launcher, locate and select Bookings.
  3. From the Bookings Landing Page, click Create meeting type.
  4. Enter the details for the meeting type. Users will see these details when selecting this meeting type from your personal bookings page.

(1) Click to change the icon for the meeting type.
(2) Type a title that will be displayed for users.
(3) Pick a category for the meeting. These categories will be specific to your Bookings calendar and not synced with your Outlook calendar.
(4) Type a description that will be shown to users when they pick this meeting type.
(5) Type or select a location for the meeting.
(6) Leave the slider to the right to include a Teams meeting link. The meeting link will be unique for each booking created.
(7) Select the duration for the meeting type.
(8) Leave the visibility to Public or click to change to Private. Public meeting types will be shown on your bookings page. Private meeting types can be sent to users, but they cannot select these from your page.
(9) Set the available hours for a user to schedule a time. These can come from your regular working hours in Outlook or you can customize for the Bookings calendar.
(10) Click the Save button to save the meeting type.

  1. Now that you have added one meeting type, you can share your Private Booking Page.
    1. Click the Share button and then one of the ways to share.
      1. Copy link - a link is copied to the clipboard. Paste the link so others can find the link such as in a profile or website.
      2. Share via email - a window opens where specific users can be added, along with a message. Internal and external email addresses can be used. The message will include a button that links to any Public meetings.
      3. Add to email signature - opens a window with your current Outlook signature for the web.
Note: this link will not be included on messages sent from the mobile app.
